Ben spent his childhood between the sunny Bay Area peninsula (Menlo Park) and the beaches of Oahu. He attended high school in the Bay Area before choosing Willamette University for undergrad (both for its amazing academics and proximity to world-class fly fishing). He graduated Magna Cum Laude.

After college, Ben spent 3 years on the East Coast at Princeton Theological Seminary obtaining his Masters in Divinity as a Presidential Fellow, receiving the esteemed Jago Preaching Prize. He spent several years as Associate Pastor of two large suburban churches before starting his own church plant. He also served as the director of a large church planting network for several years. After church planting, he pursued other creative and entrepreneurial interests including woodworking, starting a company from scratch, and eventually, executive coaching.

On a personal note, Ben lives in Central Oregon with his family who he loves deeply. They spend as much time as possible outside enjoying the beautiful high desert: snowboarding, fly fishing, floating the river, paddle boarding, hiking trails, and spending time with friends.
